Marriage can be registered at the Embassy of India, Muscat by producing the following documents:

1. Original and a copy of the Marriage Certificate attested by Waqf Board and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oman. A Copy of the Marriage Certificate
2. Original and Copy of the passport of both the Spouses (Passport should be valid with resident Visa). If one of the Spouse belongs to a different nationality the documents should be got attested by the Embassy of that country followed by attestation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oman.
3. Original and Copy of Passport of three witnesses (the passport should be valid Indian passports with resident Visa)
4. Two sets of declaration forms.
5. Affidavit Form,
6. Personal letter
7. Two photographs each.
