India – Oman  Business Meet  in  Multi  Product  sectors

The Embassy of  India, Muscat, organized  an India-Oman B2B  Meet  at  the  Embassy   on 2 September 2024.  The  event  saw  the participation of 21 visiting Indian companies from Multi Product  sectors, led by Mr. Paresh Kantilal Mehta, Regional Chairman of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO).    Representatives  of   over  50   Omani   companies  attended the  B2B  Meet with the  visiting  Indian  representatives.   The meeting  facilitated direct interactions between Indian and Omani companies in Multi Product sectors such  as  artificial jewellery, food and agro products, packaging, pharmaceuticals, construction and engineering, essential oils, ayurveda products, medical devices, textiles,  and detergents.

2. H.E. Mr. Amit Narang, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman  addressed  the  gathering,   highlighting the robustness of India-Oman commercial relations  and  the potential  for  diversifying  and   enhancing   India-Oman  trade  relations.

3. India and Oman share a long history of robust economic and trade relations underpinned by shared interests and values.  India is among  Oman’s  top trading partners. Bilateral trade reached  US$ 12.3 billion during 2022-23, and stood at US$ 8.9 billion during 2023-24.
