In celebration of 70 years of India’s Independence, Oman-India Sports Meet 2018 is being organized by Malayalam Wing of Indian Social Club, Oman, in cooperation with the Embassy of India, Muscat, and Ministry of Sports Affairs of Oman. The Meet was inaugurated on 4th May 2018, at Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex, by H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Omar bin Said Al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Services. On this occasion, a friendly football match between First-Division I-League “Gokulam FC” from Kerala, India, and Oman’s Sur Club was played.
