This visa allows you to travel for recreation, sightseeing, casual visit to meet friends or relatives, attending a short-term yoga programme and short duration medical treatment including treatment under Indian systems of Medicine. The Tourist visa is non-extendable and non-convertible. Normally, Tourist visa is issued for a period of 6 months with multiple entry with each stay not to exceed 90 days. 

Points to be noted before you apply:

• Duly filled in application to be filled online http://indianvisaonline.gov.in with two photographs. (Paste one photo with white background of the size 35 mm X 45 mm and staple another on the application form)

• When applying for a visa, the validity of Passport should be at least for next 180 days or more. 

• Copy of Passport, Residence permit / ID should be submitted.
