Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA)

The Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme is an initiative launched by the Government of India to facilitate admissions of foreign nationals and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) into engineering and other courses offered by premier technical institutions in India. The DASA scheme offers admission to students who have completed their education in foreign countries and wish to pursue undergraduate courses in engineering and architecture in India. The scheme covers prestigious institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), among others. Admission under the DASA scheme is based on the score in the JEE (Main) examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
