Embassy of India, Muscat provide various Consular Services to Citizens of India residing in Oman and visa services to Omani nationals and other foreign nationals residing in Oman. For availing the services, please click on the respective head given in this page.
Embassy of India has outsourced the Consular services to BLS International Services LLC, Oman for all Consular services including Passport, attestation, visa etc.
Consular Services and attestation counters will be shifting to BLS Centre located in Al Wattaya with effect from 27.03.2025.
The submission timing for Consular/Attestation services will be from 8.00 hrs to 15.30 hrs.
The new timing for CPV services at BLS centre will be 07.30 to 18.30 hrs w.e.f 1st April 2025. Submission timing for Consular/Attestation services will be from 07.30 hrs to 15.00 hrs

BLS International, Oman has 10 collections centers spread across Oman (Salalah, Duqm, Sur, Nizwa, Ibri, Sohar, Shinas, Buraimi, Khasab and Dibba) run by Joy ALukas Money Exhange Co. Ltd. Applicants for various services can avail these facilities from these collection centers.

BLS International provides the following OPTIONAL Value-Added Service for the applicants to facilitate submission of application forms. BLS International charge an additional fee for these services as given in their website. The services are (1) Courier Service (Muscat area) (2) Courier service (Interior Oman) (3) SMS services (4) Photograph (5) Photocopy (6) Form filling for Visa (7) Form filling for passport services under PSP system.
It may be noted that these optional services are entirely the choice of an applicant and M/s BLS can not charge it mandatory along with application fees.
IMPORTANT NOTICES
Foreigners travelling to India are advised NOT to carry or use Thurayya/Irridium Satellite phones. Those found using the same are liable to be prosecuted.
Passport and visa applicants are advised to fill the application forms fully & correctly using the correct weblinks given in the Embassy & BLS international web pages. Incomplete and incorrect applications will be rejected. Embassy will not be responsible for applications filled using wrong/fake websites.
Photographs given in the application forms should be latest (Up to 6 months old) as per ICAO regulations. Old photographs will be rejected.
BLS International will be accepting normal applications. Applications which needs approval from Embassy will be requested to concerned officials in the Embassy.
Issue of visa is the prerogative of Government of India and not the right of the applicant. Also, obtaining visa is not the guarantee to enter the country as immigration authorities have the right to refuse entry under provisions of Foreigners Act.
